You know your kid can be quite a character which is why he or she should not be defined by social stereotypes. Mattel’s latest launch of Creatable World customizable dolls encourages inclusive play and allows kids to explore their identity with confidence. The brand new gender-neutral doll collection features several stylish options with a custom doll kit designed for kids of all ages. The mix and match pieces allow your child to choose hair and clothing styles that best suit their personality.
“Toys are a reflection of culture and as the world continues to celebrate the positive impact of inclusivity, we felt it was time to create a doll line free of labels,” said Kim Culmone, Senior Vice President of Mattel Fashion Doll Design in a press statement. “Through research, we heard that kids don’t want their toys dictated by gender norms. This line allows all kids to express themselves freely which is why it resonates so strongly with them. We’re hopeful Creatable World will encourage people to think more broadly about how all kids can benefit from doll play.”
The Creatable World customizable doll is a fully poseable figure that bends at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. Each kit contains a doll, six pieces of clothing, three pairs of shoes, two hair options and accessories to create hundreds of fun looks.
